Terms & Conditions·Privacy Policy·Cookies Policy·Sub-processors

This page used to contain both our Privacy Policy and our Cookies Policy. In August 2026 the two were separated. This page now covers cookies only — for everything else about how we handle personal data, see the Privacy Policy. A list of our sub-processors is published at Sub-processors.

What are cookies?

A cookie is a small data file (various long strings of numbers and letters) that is stored in the web browser of a website user by the website platform visited. Cookies store and transmit information to the server of the web platform that the user (repeatedly) visits from that web browser/computer. A cookie may have a limited lifetime.

What types of cookies do we use?

Technical - cookies that we necessarily need for the proper functioning of our website and all its functionalities, i.e. for the search to work properly, so that you do not have to re-enter your data in forms, so that the website remembers your login to your account, etc. Your consent is not required for the storage and use of technical cookies. You can disable the storage of cookies at any time in your web browser settings. However, if you disable the storage of cookies, most of the basic functionalities of our website will not function properly and it will not be possible for you to make proper use of our services available to you once you have logged into your account.

Analytical (measurement) - these cookies help us to analyse traffic to our website and the interaction of users of our site with its content, and to improve our site so that you can get the best experience from it. We only use these cookies if you give us permission (consent) to do so.

Marketing (advertising) - these cookies let us measure how our advertising performs and reach people who have already shown an interest in BinarBase. They are set by advertising platforms and may be used to build a profile of your interests across websites. We only use them if you separately agree to them.

Nothing beyond the strictly necessary cookies is loaded until you choose. If you select "Necessary only", or simply ignore the banner, no measurement or advertising script runs and none of their cookies are set. Choosing "Allow measurement" enables the analytical tools but keeps advertising storage switched off; advertising is enabled only if you choose "Allow all". Your choice is applied through Google Consent Mode, so the tags themselves are instructed which storage they may use.

It cannot be ruled out that some of the information obtained from cookies could potentially be linked to users' personal data if the user is registered on our BinarBase platform and is logged into their account. However, we do not make these links.

Which cookies do we actually use?

Google Analytics 4 (_ga, _ga_*)AnalyticalMeasures website traffic and how visitors move through the site.Yes
Google Tag ManagerAnalyticalContainer used to manage the analytics tags above.Yes
PostHog (ph_*)AnalyticalProduct analytics — which parts of the site are used and how.Yes — measurement
Google Ads conversion linker (_gcl_au)MarketingAttributes sign-ups and enquiries to our advertising, and supports remarketing.Yes — advertising
Meta pixel (_fbp, _fbc)MarketingMeasures the performance of our advertising on Facebook and Instagram and supports remarketing to visitors of this site.Yes — advertising
Microsoft Clarity (_clck, _clsk)AnalyticalRecords how visitors interact with pages (clicks, scrolling, session replay) so we can find usability problems.Yes — enabled only under "Allow all"

The entries marked "measurement" are enabled by the "Allow measurement" choice. Advertising entries, and Microsoft Clarity, are enabled only by "Allow all" — those tags are delivered through our tag manager, which we do not load at all unless you allow everything.

Google Analytics 4, Google Tag Manager and Google Ads are operated by Google; the Meta pixel is operated by Meta; Clarity is operated by Microsoft. PostHog analytics is served from our own domain (ph.binarbase.com). Where these tools involve a transfer of personal data outside the EEA, the safeguards are described in our Privacy Policy and the recipients are listed at Sub-processors.

We keep this list current. If you find a cookie on our site that is not described here, please tell us at legal@binarbase.com.

How long do we use cookies?

1. Session cookies

Session cookies (temporary cookies) only exist in temporary memory for as long as the user is on the website. Web browsers usually delete session cookies when the user closes the web browser. Unlike other cookies, temporary cookies do not have a set expiry date, which is the basis for the browser to recognise that they are session cookies.

2. Permanent cookies

Unlike expiration after closing the web browser - as in the case of temporary cookies - a persistent cookie expires on a specific date or after a specific period of time. This means that for the entire validity period, the cookie will transmit information to the server each time you visit the website.

How can you withdraw your consent?

You can change or withdraw your consent at any time — it is as easy to withdraw as it was to give. Use the button below to reopen the cookie banner and make a new choice:

Withdrawing your consent does not affect the lawfulness of the processing carried out on the basis of that consent before its withdrawal. When you withdraw consent we stop loading the analytical tools and delete the analytical cookies we are able to remove; you can delete any remaining cookies in your browser settings.

Disabling technical cookies is also possible in your browser settings, but will impair the basic functionality of the website and of your account, as described above.

Your other rights in relation to personal data — including the right of access, rectification, erasure and the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority — are described in our Privacy Policy.
